How to play PARKING ESCAPE

The first rule takes only a few seconds to learn: every vehicle can move only along its own orientation. Create space, open a route and slide the starred target vehicle toward the exit.

01—03

How to play PARKING ESCAPE

01

Drag a horizontal vehicle left or right and a vertical vehicle up or down. It snaps cleanly to the parking grid when you release it.

02

Study the blockers around the starred target car. Often the vehicle directly in front of it is only the first part of the chain.

03

Reach the exit with the starred vehicle. One continuous slide, even across several grid cells, counts as one move.

500 LEVELS

500 levels across 20 worlds

The campaign contains 20 worlds with 25 levels each. Early boards use fewer vehicles and generous free space. Later worlds add longer vehicles, tighter chains, fixed blocked spaces and selected key-and-gate puzzles. Level 100 and Level 400 can be opened as preview challenges without unlocking campaign progress or changing regular stars.

MOBILE FIRST

Touch controls for phones

PARKING ESCAPE is designed around portrait play. Touch a vehicle and drag in its legal direction; the board prevents sideways movement that the vehicle cannot make. Large controls, disabled page gestures over the board and automatic grid snapping make small screens practical. Keyboard controls are also available when a connected keyboard is used.

DESKTOP

Mouse and keyboard controls

On desktop, drag a vehicle with the mouse or trackpad. You can also focus a vehicle and use the arrow keys that match its orientation. A clear focus outline shows which car is selected, while Undo, Restart, Hint, Pause, Sound and Fullscreen stay available beside the board.

STARS · UNDO · HINT

Stars, Undo and Hint

Finishing a level always earns at least one star. Efficient solutions can earn two or three, with the stored par value based on a verified solver route. Undo restores the previous board state and move count. Hint calculates a valid next move from the current position in a background worker; using it caps that attempt at two stars.

TIPS

Parking puzzle tips

  • Check the target car and exit before moving anything.
  • Look past the first blocker and identify the whole chain that has to move.
  • Create reusable empty space instead of filling every gap immediately.
  • Long vehicles need more clearance and can trap several lanes at once.
  • One long slide counts as one move, so move a vehicle as far as the plan requires.
  • Use Undo to test an idea without losing the entire level.
  • A fixed blocked space cannot be moved; plan around it like a wall.
  • If a gate is locked, find a route that lets a vehicle collect the key before the target reaches the exit.

PARKING ESCAPE · ALEXO

A free parking game for a two-minute break or a 500-level run

PARKING ESCAPE is a free online parking puzzle built for quick decisions rather than driving reflexes. There is no steering wheel, acceleration meter or realistic car simulation. The parking lot is a compact logic board. Horizontal vehicles stay horizontal, vertical vehicles stay vertical, and every move changes the amount of free space available to the rest of the board. The immediate objective is always visible: the starred vehicle must reach the exit. Because the rule set remains small, a new player can understand the first puzzle in seconds without reading a long tutorial.

PARKING ESCAPE also works well as a short-break game because there is no account, installation or download step before play. You can solve a single level while waiting, during a coffee break or whenever you have a few minutes, then leave the page and continue later on the same browser. If you prefer a longer session, the campaign keeps unlocking one normal level after another. The Level 100 and Level 400 preview buttons are separate challenges: they let you sample later layouts and mechanics without skipping the regular progression or awarding campaign stars.

If you search for a parking game online, a car puzzle game, a parking jam style logic puzzle or simply a free mobile puzzle with many levels, the core experience here stays focused on spatial reasoning. There is no time limit forcing quick reactions. A good solution usually comes from asking which space must be empty two or three moves from now, not which car can move immediately. That makes PARKING ESCAPE suitable for relaxed play while still giving expert levels enough structure to reward careful planning, repeated attempts and efficient move sequences.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Is PARKING ESCAPE free?

Yes. The game is free to play in the browser and does not require an Alexo account.

Does it work on a phone?

Yes. Portrait play, touch dragging, large controls and grid snapping are priorities.

Do I need to install an app?

No. PARKING ESCAPE runs directly in a modern browser without a download.

How do vehicles move?

Horizontal vehicles move only left and right. Vertical vehicles move only up and down.

What counts as one move?

One continuous slide of one vehicle counts as one move, even when it crosses several free grid cells.

Are there really 500 levels?

Yes. The campaign data contains 500 solver-checked levels in 20 worlds of 25.

How do I earn three stars?

Complete the level at or below its verified par target without using a hint on that attempt.

What does Undo do?

Undo restores the previous vehicle positions, key state and move count. It can be used repeatedly while history is available.

How does Hint work?

Hint calculates a valid route from the current board and highlights a useful next vehicle. It does not show the complete solution.

Is there a time limit?

No. PARKING ESCAPE rewards logic, not reaction speed. Pause is available whenever you need it.

Can I try a later level?

Yes. Level 100 and Level 400 are preview challenges and do not change normal unlocks or regular stars.

Is progress saved?

Unlocked levels, completed levels, stars and best move counts are stored locally in the current browser when available.

Can I play without sound?

Yes. Sound is optional and no gameplay information depends on audio.

Can I replay completed levels?

Yes. Open the level selection and return to any unlocked level to improve your move count or stars.
